I'm currently 15 years of age. Right now I'm working at a Kids play land with cafe. We specialize birthday parties, entertainment and food/drinks/coffees. I enjoy my job at the moment, as sometimes you get free food and the bosses are really nice and speak the same language as me (english is my second language) and not to mention people are nice.. except for a few customers, but hey who doesn't get bad customers.

Before I got this job I really wanted to work in maybe a clothing retail store as I love fashion and clothing. So I took this kids play land job for experience so I would have an advantage when I move onto retail.

I might work a few more months before I start considering to apply for retail positions.

Has anyone had experience in one or both fields and can someone tell me what's it's like working in either and which one do you think is better of the two and maybe more useful and will give me more opportunities? Thank you!

  1. I work at a hotel and I love my job its all hospitality! I am working on management. As for what is better....it all depends on what YOU are looking for. Your dealing with the public either way. And you going to deal with nice or angry customers its all how you deal with it that makes you a good employee. So its basically what your heart desires. If you love fashion go with it you will thank your self in the end when you choose a career that you most desire.
