I've lived in both and on the whole I prefer Canada.  That's not to say it is better in every way, but it suits me.  Why?  There is an advantage to a smaller population, I can reach the politicians that represent me and expect them to respond.  I like the relatively low crime rate, I never am afraid walking at night or worry about my kids being hurt.  I like the tolerance, of sexual orientation and color and nationality.  I like the health care system.

Have you been to Canada? Ick. Boring.They don't have many big cities. Everything seems very spaced out.. country like.. where you dont see a single house for 10 miles.

I used to live about 10 minutes away from Canada and have been there 50+ times, and I think Canadians are rude. They think they are better than Americans when they come over the border to go shopping in our great stores (they lack good stores and prices) and they complain about everything and don't even tip! Need I say more?

I'm so happy now that I have gotten far away from those crazy Canadians like zombies all looking for the closest TJ Maxx (they're obsessed. lol)
