the only "person" who could offer a meaningful comment on being infinite would be someone who was, themselves, infinite

given that human beings are NOT infinite, they are unable have any experience of being infinite, and the question as posed is totally irrelevant

the question has now been re-phrased to cover the concept of infinity. space is infinite. i look up at the night sky, and while i might actually "see" infinity, and i might have a concept of it, i have no actual experience of it. why should it scare me?

the question originally used the terms "being finite" and "being infinite". i am human, i am finite. i have nothing to compare that against.

depends upon the circumstances. Sometimes being finite is wise as infinity could have led to a disaster and vice versa~!
