The care industry is very target driven. Every year budget targets fall and become tighter means we have to sacrifice.

The NHS foundation (the newset branch for mental health, learning disability and drug rehabiitation) is born of targets gone insane.

Target setting in the work place has become extreme. The company i used to work for even charged the word taget to - behags. It stood for somthing like big hairy audacious goals. I think that alone reflects how target crazy things have become.
