Which outfit for back to school?

I'm thinking first one, but I just want to see what everyone else thinks.

The shirt is a Muse shirt from Hot Topic.

If this isn't your style, please don't yell at me.

Just tell me which to choose and if you have any small improvements, or constructive criticism, please share.

definitely the first one. the second is too much of the same color, and the shorts are short enough that a tee looks better than a tank.

I think the second one looks better because the tank matches well with the short unstead of bold black and it''s gonna be pretty hot when you go back to school so a tank would be a more comfortable outfit and black absorbs heat and that thick black shirt isn't going to help so with the tank that like a peachy pink color matches the shorts perfectly and is like a really cute outfit no joke. I hope I helped.

1st one. But thats just more my kind of style, everyone has a different idea of what style they like, so people will ether pick the 1st or 2nd depending on their personal style and what THEY prefer. So its up tp you.

ok well i will say i do adore the plaid shorts!! however, the tops you chose aren't really the best. when you were brightly colored plaid shorts, you don't want to wear a dark top, the colors clash. the second top is probably better in my opinion, but too plain for my taste!

i prefer the first one over the second.

mostly because the second one makes your body look bulky and overdressed. where as the first one doesn't seem to .

I like the first one better. But I would change the shoes; tennies don't really work with shorts. And I think that a white shirt would brighten it up a bit.

the second one matches better but if you like the first one better or you just want to wear the shirt then just wear jean shorts with it. Either way it will look fine because you still have the rest of the year to wear the other clothes you want to [=

I Love the first one. Haha. I have the same shoes. Lqtm. The first one rocks. The second  one matches too much. but then again it's up to you.
