  1. I think you should contact to a tour operator/ travel agent who can arrange  a tour to your desired destinations. for the cost you can query them. may be the cost would be a bit higher but they can better take care of your parents. Check out once here:

  2. Generally I prefer the one that is organized by govt of india.  This is more reliable and affordable too.  I'd suggest you to get in touch with Tourism office in Bangalore:

Tourist Information Centre, Bangalore City Railway Station, Bangalore - 560 023.

    Ph: 080-2286181.

They should be able to guide you better.  Also tamilnadu tourism organises an 8 day tamilnadu tour, which covers all these places you are wanting your parents to go.  When its organized through govt, they will take care of accomodation and they will be a better guide too.

    Refer to the following website:

    www.tamilnadutourism.org

refer to the package tour section.

  3. There is no package tour available to these places from bangalore. If you look for a trip only to these places, then better plan a trip seperately. If they r going alone, then best way is to find some tamil speaking person who is free to go on a trip with them in ur expanse. There r lot of bus and few trains available from blr to Madurai. It is over night journy.

after spending 1 or 2 days in madurai, they can travel to Rameshwaram by train or bus, 1 day there and again by road to Kanyakumari. They can visit Thiruchendure also on the way. You can plan their return trip from Kanyakumary to blr by direct train. Otherway is, try to bring together few people interested, hire a sumo and go around.
