Which paint color??

Question

im painting my room and i want it to be fun and bright. i want to put in lots of pictures in colorful frames and i was wondering if i should paint my walls a cream kinda color or a bright color like orange, yellow, blue, or green. and if you could put in some paint colors, that would be great!! thanks!!!

I say a light color, so the bright frames can liven up the room.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. it would be overwhelming to paint an entire room a primary color BUT paint an accent wall...a big wall in the room the color of your choosing, you can even paint the remaining walls a softer version of your accent color...also on the walls that are not the vibrant accent wall you can use the frames to bring the color you accent with to the other lighter walls...

also good for color...........the ceiling ...the ceiling is a beautiful place to put color mine are a light blue LR, a tinted gray for one br and a another softer blue for another bedroom i always paint my ceilings.........the next way to bring in color is through the pillows and accessories..........vases plant stands candle holders...etc.

if you stay more neutral on the big furniture and use the colors in the accessories than you can make a dramatic change simply by replacing the low cost accessories...

colors are hard to give because its really about your personal taste but i will suggest this go look in your closet.......in your clothing you will see the colors you like best as that is what will be staring at you....in your wardrobe.
