Which part it's better to live in Roma?

Question

I will go to Roma for 3 days in Oct., of course find a hotel near center station is convenient, but it's maybe noisy, could someone give me advices? Thanks!

I live in Rome since when I was born,Well, obviously it's better to live in the center of the city.

Of course it depends on the amount you wanna spend.I suggest Castro Pretorio.This area it's city center,it's not noisy.you got the subway station,10 minutes on foot.It's metro B,and you gotta do just one stop to attive to line A,where you can reach every part of Rome more or less.So i suggest this district.Of course,you can stay at via del corso and nearby too,it's not too noisy,but i guess prices are higher.

NOISY???

You dont have any idea how many noise you will find in Rome.

Because in Rome there are cars,cars,cars,cars and...cars.

It is an AWFUL city!!!

Obviously if you stay only three days it's ok.

But in any part of Rome there is noise,you cant escape.
