  1. Hmm....there are many good places to visit and each city is different from other..like frankfurt, Hamburg, dresden, berlin, munich and so on.....just plan according to your convenience...but berlin and munich are must seeing places...

  2. The north see is beautiful in the summer time while Berlin is awesome anytime of year.  Hamburg is also a great town.  For a twon near the borders, I think the closest you can get would be Cologne, Dusseldorf and Bonn that would be worthwhile.

  3. Honestly, I would not go anywhere near the western or northern part of Germany.  You should head south and tour Bayern.  Munich, Augsburg, etc.  Plus you can take a short trip over the border and visit the Czech Republic.  If you are looking for the storybook Germany sites, you have to stay in the south.  It is too crowded and built up everywhere else.

  4. gielenkierchien (sp?) there are a lot of people there that speak english and can tell you great resturaunts and other places to go

  5. Hamburg-the most beautyful city worldwide!

    Reeperbahn&Kiez-funny night-life

And make a one or two day-trip to Schleswig-Holstein!

Visit Friedrichstadt(Little Amsterdam)80 mls northwest from Hamburg an Lübeck-the world capitol city of Marzipan,50 mls northeast from Hamburg

  6. If you talking about the border of Belgium or Netherlands than you need to go West Germany. But East Germany is nice too, and last 15 years they do so much there.

  7. Frankfurt, Cologne...

Cologne is extremely famous for its cathedral and Frankfurt is famous for Goethe Haus.

  8. Hamburg!!!

Great night life, great people, and close to the borders.

  9. Paris
