  1. Secret Harbour and Mandurah.

  2. around booragoon, applecross ect near river and beach and very nice area

  3. Thats not a great deal of money for real estate in Perth. Things are really expensive. Why not google the real estate pages for Perth suburbs, theres all the info you want on them.Good luck to your brother etc.

  4. It will be hard to find anything within sight of the ocean with that amount unless you look at some less than perfect areas like Craigie, or Beldon. Anywhere closer to Perth along the coast would be more expensive. However you can go a few kilometres inland to adjoining suburbs and try your luck.

The best suburbs for kids and schools would be Claremont, Peppermint Grove, Cottesloe, Manning, Como and Guildford as all the very best private schools are in those suburbs. Rossmoyne has the very best Public School and is therefore a very sought after area.

If you hubby doesn't mind launching his boat into the Swan River as that is where the very best suburbs are in Perth, however they would be far too expensive for the amount that you quote.

In your range, you would have to look at being a suburb or two further away from the River or Coast.

Probably try around Leeming, Innaloo, Padbury and the like, out of which I'd go to Leeming as it's a bit classier, however the private schools out in those sort of Suburbs tend to be catholic as they deal with lower socio economic groups than schools like Aquinas, Scotch, Guildford Gramar, Wesley, Penhros, MLC, PLC etc.

Melville might be worth a try too as it's not too far away from the river (and thus boat ramps) and there could be a few bargains that fit your budget.

  5. Really depends on what work and where your rallies are going to work. Yanchep is pretty nice , near the beach and within their price range. The swan river would be good for skiing.

  6. My mother lives in Ellenbrook. It's a newer area. Its not on the beach. But about 15-20 min from hillarys harbor. Great little family community.
