  2. omg where are you from? Southhampton is in the south.

  3. The worst part. That is to say Southampton, and the immediate surrounding area, is the worst part of the UK. The rest of Hampshire is alright.

  4. Hampshire, southcoast.

Don't bother going there.. There's nothing there but a dock and some shops.

  5. its in the southern county of hampshire, unlike the other answers i think its great. my sis use to live in winchester and we use to go to southampton eveytime i went to her house and stay. theresgreat shops an shopping centre, ocean village with bars/resturants and clubs and you can get the ferry tot he isle of wight, get a cruise or go to france lol

  6. South East... Hampshire

  7. Southampton (Known as Scum to anyone who doesn't actually live there. Those that do live there are called Scummers) is about 20 miles west of Portsmouth (which has a ton of maritime history and is a cool place to visit).

There used to be a great pub there called The Frog and Frigate, but I think that died like the rest of the town.

The link below is a link to the Google Map of the area.

  12. Southampton is in the county of Hampshire on the south coast of England. Find the Isle of Wight and go due north for about 10 miles.

It's England's premier port for the world's largest leisure cruisers and is the home port for the Cunarders Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria as well as having a huge container port. On the seaward approach to Southampton is the very big Fawley oil refinery and the site of the old Flying Boat transatlantic aeroplane service.

Socially Southampton has one of the largest theatres outside of London and a comprehensive district for cinema, casino and other entertainment. There are two universities, one of which hosts the National Oceanographic Institute.

The town's location is on the edge of the New Forest National Park and has excellent road, rail and air links to London and the rest of the UK.
