  1. the city where rihanna is from ;-)

  2. Try the west coast! Find a hotel in your budget near to the beach. Its lovely!

  3. We have been to several Caribbean islands and Barbados was our least favourite.  It has drive in steak bars etc. and there is a lot of 60's hotel development that is gross.  On one side they have lost the beach because of the development.  Try St Lucia, Antigua, Jamaica, Tobago.   They are still Caribbean islands how you expect them to be.  Sorry about that, but it is only a personal opinion.

  4. You can stay in the South Coast. They are a lot of activities going on in that area. They have the beach, clubs, restaurants, hotels.......etc. Easy access to everything. We also have adventure tours, scuba diving, boat trips.........lot to do.You can also view this website www.barbados.org

    A good travel agent www.going-places.tv

  5. Head out to the east coast: Bathsheba, Andromeda Gardens, St. John Parish and Martin's Bay will get you away from the tourist crush.

  6. Here is a website where you can find places to stay and things to do around the island

  7. a good travel agent is the liitle short knomb from the travel ads on TV......

  8. I would recommend a cruise-ship as a honeymoon. a travel agent can help you  but so can go to vacations to go or to an actual cruise line. there are several lines that have eastern and southern Caribbean cruises for 5 to seven days and longer. All you need is an inside cabin, on a 7 day cruise there should be 3 port visits perhaps 4, Barbados being among them. there is food 24/7 spas, pools, entertainment, discos and casinos. something to do on-board as well as having set up tours for port visits. If getting drunk and partying , swapping partners is your thing - try carnival, if you want a nice cruise with great services, plenty to do, go royal Caribbean (my favorite).

Your room for the week as well as all your meals, and shipboard entertainment is included in the price, gambling is extra, bar drinks are extra, and if like me you don't drink, there is the $35 price for all you can drink sodas. The driving is done for you, you know where to eat and pretty much most traveling headaches do not exist. check into doing a cruise.

  9. Boggy i can tell you speak alot of ****. How about going to Guyana and drinking their dirty *** black water hmm? Anyways to answer the question - It all depends on your budget....if it's unlimited sandy lane is the place for you. If theres a limit there many hotels and guess houses depending on your budget and taste.

  10. St James is lovely. My only advice is to avoid the Atlantic side of the island to stay in as the sea is very rough and its very windy.

Other advice is to visit the flower gardens, caves and try a ride in a local bus (quite an experience).

Try the Internet for cheaper options - an all inclusive my work out cheaper as al drinks, snack s and food are included. Sandy Lane is beautiful but very expensive - there are cheaper options out there is you search the web.

  11. north as that is the best.
