  1. I love all the above listed.  I really enjoy skiing with my daughter.  It amazes me how quick she picked it up.  I learned how to ski when I was 19 and have been skiing for almost 20 years now.  She's been skiing for about 5 years and can ski anything.  Though I'm an intermediate skier, I shy away from some runs, but she'll jump right in and look pretty good going down anything.  The best part was a few years ago when she brought her skis together and got out of the power wedge!

  2. 8. Other.

It's kinda hard to describe. You get this strange feeling from just nailing down the perfect run. It doesn't matter really if you are a racer, telemarker, or freestyle skiier. When a whole bunch of elements sort of come together just at the right moment...the glide of the ski, the balance through the turn, the edges ripping silently because you've rolled the ankle just perfectly, you hit the sweet spot on every mogul and your knees stay locked together through the whole field, or you a launch off a jump and pull off a sweet trick, land perfectly and hit the next jump without even missing a stroke. Then you get to the bottom of the hill and take one silent moment to ponder that which you just experienced. Then, after a bit of thoughtful meditation you turn to your buddy and say...."h**l Yeah!"

  4. the carving. the speed.

its the thing that i look forward to all during the week and usually regret not doing more when i'm done.

  5. Number 5...

  6. Cruising around in the ski lodge at the day's end and picking up snow-bunnies.

.... geez, can't even make a stupid joke anymore, eh?  (*shrug*) ... whatever.

  7. Eric C is obviously some sort of hero...

I love the way the air is so fresh and the feel of leaving the summit and doing long turns all the way to the bottom.. I can never get enough of it.. just the best feeling

  8. 1, 5, 7

  9. The adrenaline rush that comes from high speed, steep terrain, hucking cliffs, and tearing through tight trees.  Standing on top of a cornice at 12000 feet isnt too bad, and floating through pow is one of the coolest feelings in the world.

    Willie...d**n good answer my friend!
