  1. cerebellum.............i can bet u r in 10th standard,india..........right???????

  2. don't know about posture....exactly,.. that's more like a spinal issue

but i think you're thinking of the medulla oblongata - motor section--helps you stand up and walk

the semicircular vessicles in the choclea (ear) also deal with balance so i guess...oedic section of the brain too

  3. cerebellum

  4. The inferior peduncles of the cerebellum. This is a region of a thick, cord like appearance that runs from the central regions of the cerebellum to just under the pons on the spinal cord. It has several regulatory functions, but of interest to your question it relates information from muscles (proprioception) and integrates it with the motor cortex to ensure a consistant posture and also to regulate muscle tone.

In short, the cerebellum, with a bit of help from the motor cortex..
