  1. All petrol suppliers buy bulk supplies from anyone who is selling at a price they are willing to pay for it. They then blend their supplies and put in additives. Shell as a company also have their own oil and gas production wells all around the world. It is in the interests of the supplier to sell locally as there is a cost to transporting material around the world but sometimes, even with this cost, local supplies are not the cheapest. The final answer is that it is impossible to say where your fuel is sourced.


  2. Middle East. This is the only net exporter of crude and other oil products.
