Which parts of India have good broadband internet service for private households?

Question

I am a teacher who wants to stay in India but I need reliable and fast internet service in order to teach online. I was wondering if smaller cities such as Puri in Orissa or Rishikesh in Utterkhand have good service or if you have to be in the vicinity of large cities such as Delhi or Mumbhai.

So you want to teach online, is that your aim. But even if there

is a Broadband internet connected to your computer there should be a website(Educational Poratal) for us to share the knowledge. Yes we have one educational portal which Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam has just inagurated which is sakshat.gov.in , but in that i don't think it is a complete educational potal. And more over that it is only upto the +2 students. More and more researches are required in each and every field. I mean there should be a website which much related to the reality. In the Sakshat site when we click for the articles it will point to a page of links. I don't think it is much useful. I think that there is much resource of teachers there in India and we are not using it in proper way. There should be so much online tutorials available on the internet when we search books from India. As I come to know you are will to work, I'm exited to know that. You could ask in the BSNL Exchange from where you have got the BSNL phone line whether there is Boardband Facility available in that exchange. Home starting plans start from Rs 250/- per month and 2 Mpbs speed. you have to just give an application there. If there is no facility of Broadband is available and if there is airtel range you could use airtel scheme in which they provide unlimited internet Rs.250/-. for this you should have a mobile phone which could be enabled for internet connection, such as it should have blootooth or it could be connected through wires.
