  1. Republicans.  They consistently give tax breaks to the rich, who do not even need them.  They fail to help the middle class and the poor.

Obama's bottom up economics plan is the only way we can help all class levels, economically speaking.  If you read Obama Nomics, then you will see that this is a better economic system than the top-down system currently being used.  Obama and the Democrats have consistently been in favor of helping the middle class and poor over the rich.

Clearly, the Republican party is the true elitist!

  2. Um how many house do I have?

  3. Both are.  That's politics.

  4. This time around The Republicans.

    McCain- Silver spoon

    Obama - food stamps.

Last time both were, The Bush/Kerry New England royalty election.

  5. _You'll_ come back later with the answer? You don't have to, we already know what you'll say.

And you would be wrong. "Both" halves of The One Party that Pretends It's Two are elitist at their core.

  6. The Republicans have done everything possible to redistribute wealth from the middle class to the top 1%, and have been very successful at it.   Their policy is trickle down....feed the rich and the poor will get more scraps.

The Democrats are far from perfect, and many of its representatives come from blue blood stock (even if it's less than the GOP), money, but the core of the party is focused on the middle class and the rights of the workers.

  7. This is an accusation leveled at both parties.

I believe that both Democrats and Republicans contain elite members and those members control a great deal of what is going on within the party.

  8. Neither party is the elitist per se.  What is elitist is the condescension some people have for choosing a different lifestyle.

I chose not to go to college because I have fundamental disagreements with how education is conducted.  As I talk to some people that do have college degrees, it's amazing to me that they know nothing of geography, American history, European history, and that they have trouble writing a simple sentence with proper grammar and spelling.  These are the same people who call me a bumpkin because I do live in a rural area, own guns, go to church when I can (I am Russian-Orthodox and do not live within 100 miles of a congregation that matches my beliefs) and prefer a simpler right or wrong answer instead of the attempts to rationalize both sides.  These people also accuse me of voting against my own interests without really knowing what I think really is in my best interest.

I think the true elitists are the pundits like Rush Limbaugh and Chris Matthews, who try to pander to my base instinct because they fear the Democrats or because on candidate sends a tingle up his leg.

  9. well since super-delagets (spelling) were put in place so that the elite can control the party. well guess what all super-delagets are democrats.

o look at that that would mean that democrats are Elitists wouldn't it.

  10. anyone having just a little bit of common sense will think your question is a no-brainer. And anyone that has studied american history over the last 100 years will conclude it is the rich right who are the true elitists. While the republicans CLAIM to be the true americans, their claims are nothing more than political garbage. I'm a millionaire, i should be a republican. But, quite frankly, the right and their party platform makes me physically ill.

  11. Perhaps the party that has multi-million dollar celebrity fund raisers hosted by George Clooney in Switzerland? :)

  12. the answer is in the question. most mccain (how many houses does he have again?) supporters get their information from talk radio and foxnews. they constantly talk of "elites" and it is a case where "methinks they doth protest to much". they are either talking about judges or democrats. if they are talking about dems they inevitably bring up a man named george soros (as some half-wit poster already has in response to your question).

just look at where the tax cuts go. it's pretty telling.

  13. The Repubes!

  14. There are elitists in both parties.

  15. well democrats have the stars and soros who bragged he can buy the presidency.and have bill gates ,oprah almost all of the media etc.so i would say dems hands down.

  16. The answer of course is obvious:

        John Edwards

        John Kerry

        Ted Kennedy

        Nancy Pelosi

        Howard Dean

        Reid

        Murtha

Barbara Streisand and the Movie Star Elites

        George Soros

        Michel Moore

        Feinstein

        Boxer

        Gore

Think, have any of these people ever done an honest days work, no, they are not working people, they just want to tell working people how they should live and what they should do, even though they don't practice what they preach, such as Al (the Carbon God) Gore.

  17. I guess when you don't remember how many houses you have that means you are elitist lol...that could be early stage of Alzheimer too...lol

  18. Consider this, McSame doesn't know how many houses he owns.  Does that sound like your average person?

  19. George W. Bush quote talking to room full of super rich supporters at a campaign dinner:

"This is an impressive crowd---the haves, and the have mores. Some people call you the elite, I call you my base. (big laughs)"

You can find the mp3 online if you want to hear it for yourself...

But don't assume George is really a Republican....he just put on the costume to get you're votes. This two party c**p is going to come back and bite us all in the a$$ real soon...

  20. definitely the dems
