  1. not sure i get it ? are you a US citizen or UK ?

you simply apply for a passport , whatever category you fit into, they will deliver you a passport that fits you, unless you are within the Embassy or some # high # gov. agency ? you will just get a regular passport , the US is navy blue ,and  about the UK is burgundy

  2. You cant just choose. The colours are for different things like diplomats, federal employees, civilians... You get what they give you. Most likely blue. One thing you can choose is how many pages, standard or with extra pages if you're gonna travel tons. I think it's a couple dollars more.

  3. When you apply for a passport, you will receive the standard individual passport for US citizens, which has a dark blue cover.  If you prefer a different color, you can buy a passport cover.

  4. Again, I am not sure about your question as its a bit unclear. If you are asking for what kind of passport (meaning from what country) or pertaining to colors which seems most likely to me. It sounds like you haven't traveled internationally much and don't get offended I had no clue about passports or anything until I decided to travel around the globe. Basically you'll get whatever color they issue you. And as the previous answerer said, you can always buy a special cover in a different color if you like.

As for traveling with passports is concerned, it is best to use your US passport (or passport of permanent residency) if you are a dual citizen. Mainly because customs can give you a hard time if you are using two different passports (say a US one and a Brazilian one). It is best just to use the passport of the country that you permanently reside in and get a visa on it for wherever your going. But if you are a Brazilian and traveling from US on a US passport to Brazil and you are also a citizen then it is acceptable to present your second Brazilian passport. Otherwise don't take it along with you. It also confuses airlines and can make for a frustrating experience. Travel on one passport. Also imagine what might happen if an emergency came up and there was confusion about where you come from. It could delay your getting assistance or being located. Safe journey.

  5. go for the pink one.( the blue is the good one)

  6. I'm pretty sure that the colors have to do with who you are. Like if you are in the government I think you get a black one. Most people get the navy blue one. that's what I had.

I don't know, maybe things have changed since I got my passport in 2004. But then I didn't have an option. But I have heard/seen passports in black that have to do with government officials or something.
