Many people I know are getting blackberries. Is that the stardard gadget? What's so special about the black berry service? Isn't it just regular mail? Can't I access gmail/yahoomail just the same on any pda's? I'm considering nokia communicator, palm devices, o2. iphone is not available here (well, it is, but not the service) so i count that out.

  1. Yes, blackberry is just regular mail, which is pushed to your client. In Asia and Europe Blackberry today is totally outdated... Try to use a Smartphone or PDA phone from HTC or CECT. They are affordable and the newer generations are better than the iPhone ever was. Look at the new Sciphone i68, it has fast internet and full Java implementation. It supports four bands, so it should work in your area as well. I personally love it. Alternatives could be CECT P168, A988+ and A88 phones. They are all worth there money and work everywhere in North America.

    Have fun.
