  1. D!

I think the point of this may be over some of *their* heads. ;)

    Great question though!

  2. D of course.

  3. D)

  4. D.

  5. That depends on your definition of morality. But none of those people will get into heaven if they do not accept that Jesus Christ is the Son of God,

  6. Option D is the most moral.

  7. I'll take D, Reverend Soleil.

  8. The answer must be D.

  9. E.)  The person who avoids harming others because such is not of their character and to harm is wrong.

all your choices indicate an outside authority of some sort.

none indicate doing good for the sake of doing good...

  10. All of the above.  The D person knows the truth about God where A, B, C, need to search for the truth.

  11. D

  12. I personally like B but know D is correct

  13. A).  Criminals or lets be real anyone who harms someone else is most likely a murderer.   No murderer is afraid of his punishment if he got caught.. (except of course maybe if they were put on death row).

B).  A murderer is a murderer-when committing these atrocities towards another human being, they are not thinking at all of their punishment and/or any rewards.    If one is a cold blooded killer- is not going to avoid killing out of hope for a reward.   Their  thinking is completely different from a so called normal person.

C).  Again, a murderer is a killer, period.  Their brains are not wrapped the same as a so called normal person.  Therefore, A, B, C would not apply....

    D)  Any decent person would agree to this answer.

I do see your little point of how you are trying to say those who believe in God do so out of fear and/or rewards.  However,  It seems to me that the atheistic dogma provides its disciples with the convenience of a life style devoid of moral consequences. What precludes an atheist from committing vile acts against humanity when there is no governing doctrine which condemns them from doing so?

  14. The answer is D.

And at Rob, who posted above me, saying "D, which is what Christianity teaches.

Athiesm teaches survival of the fittest and doing to others before they can do to you. According to them all morality is rrelative. Do what you can get away with doing if it profits you."

Atheism doesn't  TEACH anything. Atheism isn't a group or a religion. Atheism is simply the term for people who do not believe in God. Christianity does NOT teach D, and if it did, it's doing a p**s-poor job when people who do abortions and homosexuality are being persecuted, even murdered for their difference from Christianity.

Therefore your comment is null, voided. You clearly don't understand anything about Atheism and your assumption that atheists are immoral is weak-minded and ignorant.

  15. They are all moral for their own reasons. I wouldn't use D because what you think doesn't harm others may not be true.

  16. D is optimal of course.

A, B, are C are reserved for the miscreants that lack the human ability to what is listed for D.

I think what altruism starts, egoism finishes anyways.

  17. question, who do you think will agree with you

    a person from islam

    a person from jail

    a person from church

    an atheist

    a north korea

    an indian

    a monkey

a person who likes harming others

  18. D, which is what Christianity teaches.

Unfortunately not everyone has that belief. For example, athiesm teaches survival of the fittest and doing to others before they can do to you. According to them all morality is rrelative. Do what you can get away with doing if it profits you.

  19. D. If only because that's the only way someone can be truly "good."

  20. E. All of the above.

Many start at A, learn to be B, revert to C, and then mature to D.

As a child we feared our parent's displeasure and punishment.

As we matured, we learned there were rewards for good behavior.

Then we begin to push the limits of acceptable behavior and are put under authority (police, drill sargent, etc) who tell us what to do.

As we reach full maturity as a Christian or not we should arrive at D.

Someone did already observe that D is the teaching of Christ -- See Mt 7:12 and Mt 22:36ff.

  21. They're all equally moral.

  22. The most moral person would be D.  When you recognize that everyone is human and deserves to be treated with respect, that is obviously being moral.  People who are only decent to others out of fear of being punished or afraid of losing their reward aren't moral. Morality comes from the heart. Not just actions.

  23. A little deterministic in the question aren't we?

How about if it is just the person who avoids harming others at any cost to himself.

    REAL LIFE EXAMPLE:

John R. Short Sr., the tractor-trailer driver who died Sunday when his rig plunged off the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, wasn't supposed to be driving on the narrow span that morning.

A 1997 Chevrolet Camaro going in the opposite direction drifted into his lane

Maryland Transportation Authority Police said yesterday that physical evidence, including tire tracks, indicates that Short tried to avoid the crash. Short died at the scene.

The Camaro's 19-year-old driver said the accident occurred after she fell asleep at the wheel.

    So who was moral here?

    This is real life man.

    God love you.

  24. D    You can have morals without being religious.

  25. Ooh! Ooh! Mr. Kotter! I know the answer is D.

    Deist

  26. All of the above.  Morality is determined by results, not motivation.

  27. D...D..D....

    NO!  *bbzzzzrpp*

    E:  DOING IT FOR DADDY!

  28. Obviously, D.

    Although I wouldn't call A-C immoral.

  29. I don't know so much about what these situations mean as far as morality but I pick option D because that's what I do.

  30. D, obviously, and thanks for bringing up this very salient point.
