Or the Nitty Gritty Nit free NitComb?

I tried the Shopper's Drug Mart and PharmaPlus websites but my search shows no results.

I just used Nix on my 10 year old and want this as an added precaution, the plastic comb (with the Nix) seems useless. Thanks in advance.

  1. I don't have an answer to your question but some advice: my step daughter had lice for a while, and it got bad ...the only thing that helped was putting a ton of baby oil in her hair and combing it out...we did that 4 or 5 times and the situation got SO much better. We had such a hard time finding remedies online etc...give this a shot; it's cheap and easy. After combing through thoroughly wash his/her hair a couple of times with Apple scented shampoo. A friend told me that it 'worked' to get rid of lice, so that is what we used on our little one...and the oil + combing + apple shampoo did the trick. Good luck I know it's stressful!!

  2. I don't know what stores there are in Canada, but here in the US we can get that at the basic grocery store, or Rite Aid. If you have a Rite Aid try looking there! Also, sometimes things don't show up on the websites, but they still carry them in the stores, so I would take a visit in person just to be sure they don't actually have it.
