Which phone do you think i should get? Blackberry pearl or the Samsung Glyde?

I need a phone that will last a long time and i can txt take pics and other things. I don't need the internet but these phones are the best i can think of. They both seem pretty equal in phone ability but i have heard tha the blackberry has some problems. i want a phone with as few problems as possible. Please help!!! so remember: a phone that can txt take good pictures will last a while listen to music like radio or something and doesn't have many problems. which one? Blackberry Pearl or Samsung Glyde????? thanks! =]

Well, in order to text and do almost anything with the Pearl it will cost an extra $30 a month for the blackberry data package.  The glyde you will need to upgrade to a nationwide plan, but that isn't difficult at all.  The glyde can run slow at times and also has only so-so battery life in comparison to some of the other phones on the market.  I have the glyde right now and enjoy it, it has great reception, texting is easy, pictures are great, although the music I haven't done much with that.  My dad has the Pearl and he has had problems with it, although he still enjoys the phone, it would drive me insane.  Personally, if you want a QWERTY keyboard for texting and a decent battery life and some new features like touchscreen I would go with the glyde since it is smaller than the voyager, but if you don't want the touchscreen go with the env 2 and you still get the QWERTY keyboard.

my husband got a blackberry pearl and it did have some problems.  he got another one and hasnt had any problems recently.  the first one he had problems dialing numbers and little glitches.
