Which physical activities does your child practice? Sports for pre-schoolers?

Hi, I would like to know at what age your kids started to join sports or any physical activity?

How many days do they practice, how many hours?

If they don't play any team sports, do they swim, ride bikes or skate???

Thank you for ur answers. I just want to know what other parents think since I'm a soccer instructor and I have kids 5 years old and up. I'm considering accepting 4 yr old kids. Please write your suggestions. Thanx.

  1. Soccer is great!  I would say 2-3 days a week!  No more than 30-45 mins at a time!  Swimming is also fantastic! I've had my children in swim lessons since they were babies! Just twice a week 15 minutes at a time!  Bikes for hours a day!  scooters, mine don't do skates yet though!  I don't think children should enter those types of sports (ie...soccer and such) till four or five!  so you wanting to include 4 yr. olds is fabulous but they have a shorter attention span and need less practicing!  like i said may twice a week for no more than 30-45 minutes at one time with a short drink break in the middle!!  hope i helped!!!


  2. although my son is not in any teams, he likes bike riding and baseball and swimming.
