Which place am I more Likely to encounter problems wiith the Locals? SICILIA or NAPOLI ?

You won't have problems with locals in either place.   Just keep in mind that there are pickpockets in all cities who target tourists.    Keep an eye (and hand) on your wallet wherever you go when you travel.    The locals in both places are very nice.

Why would you encounter problems with any locals?  Unless you go looking for it there is rarely tourist attacks in Italy!

I have not been to either of the places you mentioned but have been to a lot of places in Northern Italy and the locals are nothing but warm, friendly and very amusing (in a positive way)

Treat people with respect and you will get treated the same way.  For the small minority of xenophobes?  Well so be it, smile and move on.

I din't have any problems in either place.  The only thing that happened that was kind of funny was men in cars whistled at me in Napoli, and in Sicily a man in a car rode by me and grabbed his crotch, and in a train station in Sicily a man standing at the urinal next to me started playing with himself.  I was in shorts all 3 times and blond, but really not all that great looking.  But things like that happened to me only there in south Italy, which makes me think something about the closeted nature of men down there gets them out cruising in public places.
