i tink ill choose malaysia...since its way more developed and practically people there speaks english much fluently than in thailand. things r cheap there too. n just imagine a country with so many diff skin color laughin and being happy with each otehr...a very sweet country overall...

I disagree with sheera. I have visited both places many times - last time 2 months ago and as a foreigner I found Malaysia very rude and dirty. people dont mind spitting everywhere and when you land you are greeted with guards holding machine guns. Thailand whilst not the cleanest place in the world is so nice around Phuket and very relaxing. The beach is gorgeous and a lot nicer than most in Malaysia

Actually both countries do have their own beauty.

Let us not criticise on the people in both countries. Not all people in both countries are that bad. Actually, all countries are nice to go for holiday.

If you want to spend romantic evening with your girlfriend, for Malaysia, I would like to recommend to go to Pangkor Island. As for Thailand, there are number of nice beach resorts you can go. I would recommend Anatara Hua Hin. This place is so cool for couples to have a candlelight seafood dinner near the beach.

If you want to go for shopping, both Malaysia & Thailand have cheap and nice things to get. Malaysia will be Kuala Lumpur and Thailand will be Bangkok.
