Which place is better?

Question

my gf birthday is like a week away and we are 28 and 24. we live in atlanta and would like a weekend getaway. were thinking along these lines:

hilton head, sc / savannah, ga

myrtle beach

panama city

or anywhere else in fl, closer to ga

we have never been to any of these places so were totally clueless as to what to do and where to go, as we are originally from the west coast. can someone please help us? thanks.

If you want to take your girlfriend to a romantic history city, go to Savannah, GA. It's a history city with a nice waterfront. There's lot's of restaurants and places to shop. It's also supposedly one of the most haunted places in America, so they have ghost tours at night (obviously a tourist trap, but it's spooky at night when they take you through some of the old, supposedly haunted buildings). Hilton Head is mostly golf courses and gated oceanfront communities, but there's also some nice beaches that have public access.

If you prefer theme parks, bars, lot’s of hotels and mini golf, visit Myrtle Beach. Hotels are cheaper in Myrtle Beach and there's more to do but I personally prefer Savannah. Panama City, FL is like Myrtle Beach but smaller.
