Which place is better/ safest to live Naples or Sicily?

My husband might get orders to naples or sicily, i have herd that naples has a lot of crime and it is really not safe to live there. I havent really herd anything bad about sicily, can anyone please tell me anything about these two places good or bad?

Naples, though like all places it really depends upon the neighbourhood one resides in. It's not Switzerland or Denmark after all. The further south one tends to go in Italy the more dodgy it tends to become. Sicily is a wonderful place, but it's a bit rough in comparison to Naples or Florance or Venice for that matter. Just remember that the more one stands out the more one is likely to be targeted by the local pick pockets.

depend where un sicily. but mainly, away from palermo, its safer.

There's a lot less crime in Naples and Sicily, in fact Italy overall, than there is in the USA.  Much of the crime you hear of is petty theft from tourists, and that happens worldwide.  So just use the same level of caution that you would use at home.
