Which place is better to learn skiing? USA or France?

I'm thinking of taking ski lessons for a week. I have a choice between Courchvel, the Alps France or The Rockies Colorado USA. I can ski blue runs, which country has a better style of downhill skiing? My US ski instructor suggested America, he said that in France it's overrun by British ski instructors who can't ski and he said French instructors can't speak English.

Use the ESF ski school.

Courchevel is beautiful, but it is very, very large. I would suggest that you learn to ski at a resort in the rockies where you can take a lesson from an American and get a wider variety of terrain.
