Which place is safer to live-Chiapas Mexico or Huananatanga Guatemala?

Hi, I don't think there's a place called like that in Guatemala. There's Huehuetenango, I think you're probably thinking about that. Look, Chiapas is a state, Huehuetenango is a city and a department (something like state). Safer? It all depends where you're living. If you're living in some places of the border between Mexico and Guatemala, it could be dangerous because of drug crossing.

Chiapas, even though there are some Zapatistas, is not the most dangerous place in Mexico. I think there are some states that are way worst than Chiapas. However, it also depends where you are. I'm not quite sure about Huehuetenango. But there's one thing, in Chiapas you can find larger cities, more services, and more infrastructure. I would lean more towards Chiapas.
