Which places are a must see in pondicherry??

hi pals.. me and my friends are deciding to go to pondicherry for the next weekend.. is this the right time to go ?? and which places should v visit?? what is most enjoyable over there??? how many days would make an ideal trip... and i heard beer is very cheap over there compared to bangalore.. is it true??

I would say this is not the best season to visit Pondicherry due to the monsoons but if you can handle the rains, it should be good.

A weekend should be good enough to visit most of these places.

Yes Pondi is cheap in every aspect comparing Bangalore.

Paradise beach, auro beach one must see, Hotel Sai Ram is a beautiful and budgeted hotel to stay, non ac room is Rs 600.00 and is next to old bus stand straight 5 km is beach road .two days staying in pondicherry is ok

I think 2-3 days is enough. The must see places are Auroville Matrimandir, Pondicherry Museum, Gandhi Park, Botanical Gardens, Manakula vinayagar Temple, Pondicherry Beach and Boat House. You can enjoy shopping at Nehru street and MG Road.
