  1. In London it is the old Greens photographic shop on the fringe of Trafalgar Square.(near the turning to Northumberland Avenue.

This is the place from which distances are measured.

    Don't know about Glasgow.

  2. Preston, Huddersfield, Leeds, Blackburn...York is definitely the nicest city to live in.

  3. York

  4. If you go by the M6 you'll end up in down town Wigan Famous for its pier ( ? ) Rugby League and not much else .

  5. if your talking what place lies exactly between these 2 places then i think manchester is about dead on halfway .. as the crow flys !

if you want more detailed like exact miilage try auto route at www.rac.co.uk .. type in your two addresses .. it will show the total trip in miles .. then just work out how many miles is halfway ... then see were  u are on the route when this milage is reached

wherever that is that would be an exact place between were u both live

  6. manchester, york, leeds, all great citys, harrogate is pretty much dead in the centre

  7. The cemeteries!  Theese are the dead centre of any town/city - people are dying to get in there!

  8. Glasgow : The Necropolis.
