Question:

Which places in Paris are open all night or really late?

it will be a monday night in june. i arrive at 9pm and am going to the eiffel tower and champs-elysees and will be walking around paris the whole night before i leave again for the airport at 8am. it would be nice if i could find a a few stores/attractions open.

i am 19 years old and not very rich :)

  1. Unfortunately Monday is the worst day for visiting Paris by night. Most restaurants, cabarets and clubs are closed that night as it's the traditional closing day. As for stores, labor regulations do not allow night opening.

    You should stay in the most touristic areas (Latin Quarter, Montmartre) to find anything open until 1 or 2 am but it's going to be difficult to find anything open until 5 or 6 on a Monday night. You should book a cheap hotel room in a Formule 1 hotel.


  2. Clubs, bars and cafes that stay open all or most of the night are common.

    My favorite hangout, aux Trois Mailletz at 56 rue Galand in the 5th arrondissement is usually open until at least 4 AM and often beyond. If all else fails try that. Its close to the St. Michel RER/Metro station so it has easy access to the airports.
