  1. We haven't discovered any yet, but i'm sure there are probably millions of them or even more. Considering there are roughly 400 billion stars in our galaxy and maybe 1000 billion or a trillion Galaxy's. that would be a countless number of stars with a countless number of planets obiting most of them, many of them possibly Earthlike.

  2. None within our solar system and it is likely that it will never be within man's reach to find a similar atmosphere elsewhere.  It is a very, very strange and almost miraculous set of circumstances that allowed earth to develop an atmosphere condusive to life and to maintain it.  That is why it is so wrenching to see the developed nations of the world so loath to cooperate in its maintenance.

  3. Mars is the closest to Earth in terms of habitability but Mars atmosphere is far to thin to support human life, i read an article on the internet about Glise 581 c and how it is a Super Earth and once i read the article i found out the term Super Earth was very misleading, there aren't many planets out there that would make a remotely good home for humanity, just recycle and hope that more people start doing the same or we might just have to move to Mars, well i want to move to Mars anyway but most people are happy were they are.

  4. I would say Titan, although its prob still significantly different.

  5. As of right now, none.  The big kicker here is the nitrogen and oxygen in the atmosphere.  The closest another planet comes to having a similar nitrogen amount is Mars, with only 3% of its atmosphere composed of Nitrogen.  However, it is believed that Venus has a similar atmosphere to Earth when it was forming, and one of Saturn's moons, Titan, has a primarily Nitrogen atmosphere (albeit no oxygen).

  6. NONE-- within the solar system.

  7. none, but if there was a way to create atmosphere on Mars it would be the planet most similar to earth in climate and gravity.

  8. None that we know of.

  9. There really isn't one, however mars is closest in mass, gravity, and other factors.

  10. none.

earth's atmosphere is unstable and needs life to maintain it, since an oxygen atmosphere would combine with other elements and leave a carbon dioxide/nitrogen atmosphere, like venus or mars.
