    Although one of the most common compounds in the universe the spectrum is very quiet when you look at it from the radio signal aspect.

    If a planet emitted signals in the hydrogen spectrum it would almost certainly be picked up due to it standing out against the relatively low background signals.

  4. earth creates a really ugly ear piercing noise out into space that is caused by solar flares hitting the earths atmosphere creating the auroras. jupiter and saturn are believed to also create a similar sound. you could probably find  the sound online somewhere
