  1. well since it takes 8 minutes for it to get to earth, I'd have to guess Mars

  2. just using what i know and common sense/reasoning (no fancy math for me, im not to fond of it) its gotta be mars.

  3. If this is a book question, then the answer is Mars.   But in reality, the light time from the Sun to Mars changes over the Martian year.  Right now, it takes 13.4 minutes.  In about 9 months, it will take 11.6 minutes.

  4. speed of light is 3x10^8m/s which is 1.8x10^10m/min. for 12.7 minutes just multiply to get 2.286x10^11m, or 228,600,000 km. then look up which planet is that far away. turns out to be mars.

    make it a good day

  5. Mars

  6. No planet at all. The light is already about 12000 years old, when it leaves the surfaces of the sun.

After leaving the surface of the sun, the light needs 12.7 minutes to Mars (12.7 light-minutes ~ 1.5 AU)

  7. mars. it takes light 12.7 minutes to travel from the sun to mars. (i think that light does not age because of it structure of atomic particles)
