The IAU has the authority to name space objects, and planets are named after mythical characters.

Asteroids and comets are often named after people, but the names are chosen by their discoverer.

So if you want Obama to have something named after him, then you should discover an asteroid or comet, have it officially recognized by the IAU, and name it.

I won't bother to question your misguided opinion that he is some kind of saviour.

Planets are named after Roman gods. Obama is neither a Roman, a god, or a savior, hence he is not entitled to one.
