  3. Very few plants are truly indigenous to the British Isles and occur nowhere else.

    There are a few Hawkweeds and eyebrights that may fit the bill but they can only be determined by an expert.

    Off hand, the only truly endemic plant I can think of is the so-called Lundy Cabbage (Coincya wrightii) which occurs on the south east facing cliffs of Lundy Island just off the north Devon coast. Most of the rest of them may be very rare in Britain but they occur elsewhere and often in considerably greater abundance than they do in Britain.
