Which plants we should grow in the surrounding area near office, inside industry or near house so that we can reduce cooling needs and save energy and environment?

    I grow

    Banana .Papaya,Mango ,Guañabana.

    Coconut palms are not a good idea although they give a high shade( because falling coconuts can kill people)

    around the office and next to the wall i like the giant red ginger

    they are tall and prolific and hide the wall

    Vines with red leaves absorb the most heat

    have these on trellises  around the building.

    But each place is different you have to be specific.

    1st would plants that would grow fast even though they may not give more shade.

    2nd would be plants that are good for health like NEEM, Basil  which is very good for health and keeps mosquitoes away.

    3. These are plants that are having big leaf and are generally slow growing.

    Now for cooling requirement, u should extend the area beyound ur boundry to grow plants, so the earth receives less heat and ur purpose is served.

    AFTER U HAVE DONE U CAN REQUEST UR NEIGHBOUR TO EXTEND TO THEIR NEIGHBOUR IN ALL THE 4 DIRECTIONS
