Which plasma Tv is good ?

panasonic is number 1 manufacturer of plasma screens.

Which have reports on TV;s every year and Panasonic always Win best buys, with sony winning on some models too.

Samsung comes as recommedned as OK reliability and features and pictures but Philips and LG lose out as unreliable and not liked by owners.

Sharp and Toshiba are average except current LCD slimline Regza which has bad picture (not typical of range oas whole).

I and researchin buying anew one myself.

AVOID LG (Cheap) and Philips (expensive) as unreliable and prone to glitches and faults.

Sony (expensive) and Panasonic (mid- higer price) are best of range ut if on budget go Samsung.

Panasonic has been the top seller in this category for at least the last 3 years.  Consumer Reports has also listed it as a best buy.

In respect of reliability: Sony

In respect of picture clarity: JVC

In respect of value for money: LG

Overall i would say Sony is excellent and my choice of Plasma.
