Is it Sam Snead again, or does some other player hold the record of top ten finishes on the PGA tour?

Jug McSpaden finished in the top ten 31 times in 1945, and he also had the most runner up finishes, placing second on no less than 13 occasions. The consistently great McSpaden was rather overshadowed by Byron Nelson, who won 18 times in total in '45.
