Which players do you think are the most underated and overated in NRL?

some of these answers are very strange.

sbw overrated? you have got to be kidding. OK then you ran at him.... yeah sure and willie mason. HELLO... look at the dogs pack with out him.

Lockyer is the most over rated player. why.. his heart is gone. he is there for the money and that's it.

you can see it in his eyes. the will and desire are gone. second is Thurston. if your the best half back in the world your team shouldn't be coming last. simple as that. (that and his on field antics of going off head at his own players even when he is the one that stuffed up. honestly he is a joke.)

under rated. Matty rogers. that guy has the goods.

Under-rated = Morris twins (STGI), Jason Nightingale (STGI), Beau Ryan (TIGERS), Billy Slater

Over-rated = Where to start, Sonny Bill, Lockyer, Thurston, Sailor, Ryles, the list is too long.

Some players that are some times over-rated while other times deserve it = Gasnier, Mason, Benji. These players play great when they play good, but when they're not great, they're pretty poor players.

Matt Cooper, I believe is sometimes over-rated while other times is under-rated. I believe he deserves to be a over-rated player, so to speak.

I also think 1/2 the Manly team swing from being over-rated to being under-rated.

Overrated- SBW.. he is good player but he isnt fantastic.. and thats when he is actually playing..

underrated- Definatly Dallas Johnson.. he is such a work horse.. he does so much for his team but never gets the lime light put on him...

I'd have to say the most over rated player in the NRL is Johnathon Thurstans, he is not that good... he didnt deserve the Dally M Meadl last year.. when he gets near the ball he runs away coz hes scared to get tackled nd he doesnt lay tackles he puts a feather touch on the tackled player when hes already tackled..

The most under rated Player in the NRL is Matt Cooper.. he does so much work and rearly gets the rap he deserves

i would have to say that willie mason is the most overated player

the most underated player in the nrl is michael luck from the warriors. that man is a tackling machine, last year he finished as the highest tackler in the nrl (or may have been 2nd) and this year he is currently 2nd. hes the kind of player that just goes on with his job quietly but is such a work horse.
