Which players do you think personified the nba in it's many generations.

Like about a decade ago Jordan was the face of the nba. Try doing each decade. Star if this is an interesting question.

Good question. i'll say...

60s - bill russell/wilt chamberlain -- russell basically introduced defense to the league. chamberlain showed just what one amazing player can do but putting up mind boggling stats.

70s - Kareem abdul jabbar - he came up with an unstoppable shot that made defenses change. He was a game changer and brought fundamentals to the game.

80s - Magic Johnson/Larry Bird - magic proved that no matter what size you are, you can play any position if you can play it well. Bird was one of the first all around players. he did everything on the court.

90s - Michael Jordan - there was no body who even came close to jordan at this time. He was the target for many teams and players. He stopped hall of fame players from winning championships. He revolutionized what an NBA superstar should be.

00s - Lebron James - he has everything in his advantage right now. Age, size, skill. kobe is close but he does not have the age. Lebron has the torch and once he reaches his prime, there will be no player to come close to king james.

allen iverson he definatly changed the game for shure his cross overs then everyone did cross overs 2 get away from da defender his swag.his attitude made the nba change its look on high school ppl dat need 2 get to the nba 4 there familyz lyk allen did but he did alot to the game bad and good but mostly the moves cross overs and jukes he brought 2 the game
