I don't think the Mavericks will make the playoffs this year. With all the Western teams getting younger and better (Clippers and Warriors) and Mavericks are just getting older (trading Devin Harris for J-Kidd).

I also think the Hawks lost all playoff contention losing Childress, and possibly losing Josh Smith. The Miami Heat will obviously take their place.

I really don't see the Nuggets making any progress, either. As much as I want them to make the playoffs, I doubt they'll make it.

iono about the spurs, I hope they have 1 or 2 more years in them, cuz there getting pretty old.

something tells me either hawks or wizards won't make it either.

Hawks because i just don't think they made enough moves to boost them into another playoff spot. And the Mavericks because Dirk CANNOT hold up a whole team by himself even with the help of Jason Kidd.

The Mavericks no doubt. They're slowing down and Dirk isn't aggressive enough.

What the h**l? Utah will be one of the best teams next year, they have the entire season with Korver. They had the second best record after the All-Star break with his addition.

Boston I dunno why...cause they have a good team I just don't see them making the playoffs next season...

Atlanta...they will probably have the worst record in the NBA next season.

Boston Celtics if the current trend stays. the trend currently happening in the east for the past 8 or so years. A team will play the pistons in the east finals and either win or lose but the next year they are nothing while the pistons are there to stay.
