Which pokemon's better Mew or Mew 2?

Mewtwo may look and be sronger but Mew can learn anything at all!

You understand that picking out which is the better one, is a personal choice. It depends on what function one of the two has to fulfill in your party. Depending on that function one of the two will be the best for your specific party.

The differences between Mew and its clone are :

Mew has 403 HP and all his stats are maximum 299. It can also learn all TM's and HM's, a factor that can be decisive in choosing one of the two.

Mewtwo's stats are greater, except its Defense and its Special Defense. Mewtwo can also not learn all TM's and HM's.

I personally always loved (actually adored) Mewtwo. You can see I picked a picture of Mewtwo on my head page. Mewtwo, in my opinion, stands for power, and more specific the power of science. But as a trainer I always chose Mewtwo because of its greater stats and its ability to learn ' Amnesia ', a move that was one of the most powerful ones in the time of the First Generation Pokémon games.
