Which pokemon decides the gender male or female

for eggsample lets say i put a boy blaziken and a girl vulpix would the egg be a vulpix or blaziken

  1. it will be what ever the girl is , like in the example the egg would be a vulpix, not a blasiken

  2. none of them becuase u need the same pokemon but different genders in order to have blaziken or vulpix.

  3. It will always be the base form of the female Pokemon, so it would be Vulpix

  4. Vulpix. It is always the Girl pokemon that hatches from the egg.

    Ditto, a pokemon that can transform into any Pokemon it wants, can breed with any other kind of Pokemon. It will always be the other Pokemon, and you can not have a baby Ditto.

    EDIT: What oskavat said is wrong. You can put almost any Pokemon besides Legendaries together and they will breed as long as they are different Genders.

    You cannot breed Dittos because they are genderless.

  5. The baby would be a Vulpix, but you may have a chance of the newly hatched pokemon being born with some of Blaziken's moves.
