Which pokemon game should i get? fire red or emerald.?

The criteria I have for picking which one are as follows.

Which game includes all the pokemon up until 386?

Which game is longer and has more play value after you have beaten the elite four or whatever final event it is in emerald?

In your opinion, which is more fun?

One last thing. Can you trade between the two?

i think fire red because after the elite four you still have a few things to do i think emerald has more pokemon but overall i find fire red more fun

Well to answer all questions il starts wit the last question... yes u can trade between the two... in my opinion fire red is more fun to me because i liked the older pokemon better... its also longer game because u travel from kanto to the newer games... no not the diamond or pearl pokemon... well to me fire red has longer play value since u do travel and have ato get 16 badges... but u do dat in emerald as well... it all depends on which pokemon u liked more.. they both include 386.. its jst depending on what version u liked more old pokemon or new one

emerald because if you get a pikachu with the item light ball you can breed it and get a pichu with volt tackle and you can trade between them

fire red it is a lot more fun and there is more to do after you beat the elite four
