Which portable air conditioner would you get if you were me?

I'm buying a portable air conditioner which costs a lot. Now I've come down to 2 products and listed the pros and cons. Please help me choose which one I should get all things considered (I didn't include the brand because I don't think it matters).

option A:

9,000 BTU (stronger!)

delivered to your home

option B:

7,000 BTU

store pick up (8 miles away, gas here is about $4 now)

$12 less than option A

Option A sounds like a better deal, but if your room is only 200 sq ft, option A may be too much air conditioning. Depends how "conditioned" you like your air to be, but we use a 5000 BTU in a room that is 200 sq ft and it keeps it cool enough for us when it is not on high.

I would want to know which was more efficient! How you get it home or a $12 savings is irrelevant.

Option A is best deal. Also maybe you can get them to install it. 9000 btu is right for 200 sq. ft.

We don't have all the facts.

How big is the room you want to cool? That will determine how strong a unit you need.

What is your gas mileage to determine the cost of pickup?

But $12 for the bigger unit AND delivered sounds like the better deal.
