Which position usually scores the most?

I know the backs usually ball handle alot, but I'm shortside wing most of the time, and I never find the ball coming to me, so I can't score. Is this alright or should I be doing more to get the ball?

  1. It really depends it what your other team mates are doing because if you want the ball and your forwards drive over the ball and get it out to the backs then the backs spread the ball nicely with about  3 steps draw and pass then you should get the ball and gas it out and try cutting inside and fending with your inside arm so hold the ball with the arm thats closer to the side line. Or if your backs aren't spreading or your forwards aren't driving then you won't get the ball.

And in my rugby team our number 8 scores a lot and our flanker (number 7) so it all really depends in what kind of team you have and how good your team mates are.

To answer your question I would say either positions 7, 13, 14, 11 or 12

    Hope it helps you. =)

  2. 69 or doggy style!

  3. fullback,winger,eight man,openside flanker,

let your team know you keen to have a go at the defence line come off your wing and take hit ups of the ruck chase all the kicks through if the ball aint getting to you bro you get to the ball

  4. depends on your teams style of play, do you guys pass the ball out to the backs a lot? kick a lot? play a forwards game.

I've played wing, it also depends on the winger him/herself, you can get the ball, now do you have incredible skill like cedric heymans to score from anywhere or are you going to kick the ball or pass it out. It all depends on the style of play of the team.

in the ideal team though, i think the winger is supposed to score the most hence its job "the finisher" you're supposed to finish the play with a try.

  5. 1.flanker

    2. 8 man

    3.outside center

    4.inside center

    5.wing

    6.second row

These are the positions that will score the most. The top 3 will be the ones who will get most of the trys. Talent has a lot to do with it though.

  6. The centres or loose forwards generally score the majority of the trys as they handle the ball alot more and they are generally the quickest and strongest players on the field

  7. You should try making inside runs, or if the ball is going out to the opposite side you should try going to the other side making an overlap or if you know the ball is coming to you, you shud be thinking of what you are going to do with the ball straight away!! take deeper lines so you hit the line quicker or target your opposite wingers bad side with you're side step or hand off!!

  8. bball? pointguard

  9. im winger but i prefer to play fly half or fullback-more ball

just shout at your scrumhalf to give it out your way and shout at your teamates to give it out,

  10. It doesn't matter who scores the most points. As long as your contributing to your team and the team is going well because of it that is what you are after. There are no one man teams in rugby, if guys like Dan Carter or Johnny Wilkinson had useless players around them they wouldn't have half the points they have scored in rugby.
