  1. I don't see how McCain is qualified to lead this country in a war.  His claim to fame is being shot down and allegedly tortured while flying a mission during Vietnam.

  2. Brad -- "allegedly tortured"?  Come on!

  3. War, war,war!

"We like to think the third amendment is passé, old-school. Last year, in 2007, the federal government alone collected $2.6 trillion in taxes, making its take nearly 20% of US Gross Domestic Product. With a significant proportion of this money, the government wages war around the globe, and increases the size of what the founders referred to as a standing army. Furthermore, to finance the wars and the empire, the government produces paper money – causing inflation, which is just another tax, another theft of the people’s wealth and property."

  4. I guess that only Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt qualify on experience but why did'nt you include Teddy Roosevelt or Ike?

  5. None. If they knew how to lead there would have been no war.

  6. Though being shot down, captured and tortured might build character and resolve, but it doesn't build leadership skills. Neither does working as a US Senator. I think McCain has a decent level of leadership ability, but no more than Obama. Neither would be where they are if they were unable to lead.
