  1. I don't.  I don't need to:

I don't use lard at all and what small amount of cooking oil (olive oil usually) I do use is generally as salad dressing or in a stir fry and consumed with the meal.  I very, VERY rarely eat deep fried food and never cook it for myself.

  2. Feed it to the dog and birds.

  3. See my previous answer.   As I said, I do not know the answer as to the process involved.  Perhaps you would like to investigate further afield for yourself on this very matter.

  4. Fat for soap making can be almost any pure animal or vegetable oil from reclaimed kitchen grease or castor oil.

  5. Do a search on bio-diesel... several techniques. Beware that it can damage your injectors if the car is new. Drivers driving behind will think that there is a fish n chip shop nearby !! So beware of VAT /IRS ... :-) avoiding tax

  6. personally I do not recycle it but have heard of it being blended with diesel so looked it up and found there is a place in Colorado that u can actually take it to. Check the website!

  7. oil is a natural substance so you could theoretically dump it back in the ground, it is an organic compound.
